on the island of Roatan, Honduras, in the heart of Sandy Bay is Lynn Dee's
Ceramics Studio.
Lynn Dee can be seen almost daily in her studio creating and hand building an assortment of different style pieces. Whether she is creating custom commission pieces or just letting her creative juices flow, each piece is unique and has a character all it's own.
Lynn says that “Creating
art with clay is a very romantic process. Although clay is extremely malleable,
it is often the clay itself which determines the design of a particular
piece.
Every wedge of clay has its own personality, and the addition of fire
offers its own, often startling,surprise."
Lynn's visions and creations include a variety of items such as custom replicas of homes, lanterns, tile tables, wall plaques, signs, tiles, statues and vases.
